Hello world! A quick and dirty post for all you avid QRW readers today, as momma has some looming deadlines for the end of the day. Gots to pay those bills.

Mondays are our creative kick in the arse. And this Monday is special - they announced the official lineup for Lolla 08 today. Since Lollapalooza became a one-stop-shop in Chicago in 2005, I’ve been to each one. Sure, they’re huge. Fairly corporate. Exhausting. But how can you go wrong with three days of pure audio bliss, combined with great food and lots of alcohol? They haven’t yet.

This year’s lineup is pretty drool worthy so far. Radiohead. Rage Against the Machine. Wilco. The Raconteurs. The National. Cat Power. And one of my favorites, Nine Inch Nails.

Mr. Reznor is a lyrical genius in my modest opinion. Dark, intense, and backed with instrumental insanity. Not sure about that? Check out this week’s creative kick (and a potentially NSFW clip) after the jump.

So many songs to choose from. I’ll pick one I heard again this weekend, one that just gets under my skin:
